Procedure of requesting for quotation on supplying and delivery of Climbing Formwork System for Exterior corewall and Lift wall.

Step 01:

Quantity Surveyor shall coordinate with PMC (Project Management Consultant) for layout drawings, elevations and sections.

Step 02:

Quantity Surveyor shall send the layout drawings, elevations and sections to Suppliers (at least 4 to 5 suppliers) and request for proposed technical method statement for the specific building, Company profile, and Project Experiences.

 Step 03:

Quantity Surveyor shall forward the technical method statement for the specific building, Company profile, and Project experiences submitted by Suppliers to PMC to check for an approval on the technical method statement.

Step 04:

Quantity Surveyor shall send the approved technical method statement to the Suppliers and request for quotation.

Step 05:

Quantity Surveyor shall check all the items in the quotation submitted by Suppliers and prepare the table comparison. Start and negotiate with all the Suppliers to get the better offered price.

Step 06:

Quantity Surveyor shall shortlist two Suppliers offered a lower price (Let’s say Supplier A and Supplier B which the Supplier A offered a price higher than the Supplier B).

Quantity Surveyor shall offer the Supplier A the price which is around 10 percent lower than the Supplier B.

When the Supplier A agreed on the offered price, the Quantity Surveyor shall offer the Supplier B which is around 10 percent lower than the Supplier A.

Then, Quantity Surveyor shall recommend a Supplier to the Employer based on the Pricing Valuation (30%) and Technical Valuation (70%).

Note: The quotation shall exclude the custom clearance fees, import tax, VAT. These items shall be solved by a Logistic Engineer.

The Employer can avoid paying the import tax 15%, and VAT 10% in case the product name is the same to the Item in the Project Master List.

Is it full enclosure steel (or Mesh) safety screen or just a handrail?

5/ Delivery Time:

How many weeks for Fabricate?

How many weeks for Delivery on Phnom Penh Port or Sihanouk Port?

6/ Setting up time:

How many days for initially setting up the system?

7/ Construction Cycle:

How many days for a completion of 5 meter height wall?

8/ Overall duration:

How many months for completion of the project from the fabricate time?

9/ Reusable:

Which parts of the system can be reused for next future project?
