[1.5] WHAT IS TENDER PROCESS?
At a feasibility stage and during design stage of a project, the Quantity Surveyor shall discuss with the Architect and Employer on the procurement strategy for the project and make recommendations on the total number of main contracts and sub-contracts and their respective scope of works, and the cost budgets for each main contract and sub-contract (These estimated cost budgets shall follow that determined by the Cost Plan.). 

When the Employer agreed on the estimated budget, the Quantity Surveyor shall carry out the tendering strategy as the following;
1. Pre-qualification of tenderers
2. Tender documents
3. Tender Questionnaires (TQ) & Clarifications
4. Tender opening record
5. Tender analysis and reporting
6.Tender Interview Questionnaires (TIQ) and Clarifications
7. Contract awards and documents
